Jeremy Simms Alexander, DDS
Dr. Alexander lives by a simple philosophy: persevere, and God will reward. As a dentist, Dr. Alexander's goal is simple yet meaningful: to provide access to care for those who need it most, remain consistent in serving others and always uphold the principle of "Do No Harm." He believes that every patient deserves respect, compassion and quality care.
One of Dr. Alexander's greatest professional joys is helping children achieve and maintain healthy smiles. Alongside his team, he has worked to build a trusted brand of dentistry that reflects the values and pride of the community it serves. He is dedicated to creating positive dental experiences and ensuring that patients receive compassionate, high-quality care.
Dr. Alexander earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2007. Since beginning his career, he has remained committed to the belief that learning never ends. He views continuing education as a lifelong journey that is strengthened through perseverance, a value that guides both his professional and personal life.
After graduation, Dr. Alexander established his first dental practice in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2008. In 2015, he returned home to launch MFS, bringing with him years of experience, leadership and a passion for serving families. Practice ownership has provided valuable life lessons and helped shape his approach to patient care, business and community involvement.
Dr. Alexander is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association® (ADA), the National Dental Association (NDA) and the Mobile Healthcare Association. His commitment to these organizations reflects his dedication to professional growth and excellence in dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Alexander enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children, three daughters and one son. He appreciates the peace found in God's creations and enjoys outdoor activities such as golfing, fishing and hunting. He also loves traveling with his family, exploring new places and creating lasting memories together.
Cristin Jackson, DMD
Dr. Cristin Jackson is committed to providing exceptional dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2021 and has been proudly serving patients in the area for five years.
Dr. Jackson holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, as well as a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University at Shreveport. She continues to expand her knowledge and skills through continuing education courses each summer, helping her stay current with advancements in dentistry and patient care.
During dental school, Dr. Jackson received the American General Dentistry Award. She is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Louisiana Dental Association.
As a dentist, Dr. Jackson's goal is to continue providing patients with exceptional dental care for years to come. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband of 10 years, Ricky, and their beautiful baby boy, Ricky Jr.
Amsale Derese, DDS
Dr. Amsale Derese is a dedicated dentist with a passion for helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health San Antonio School of Dentistry in 2018, where she graduated with Distinction in Dental Education. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Mathematics from the University of Houston, where she graduated with honors.
Dr. Derese has been practicing dentistry in Louisiana for more than four years after relocating from Texas. She is especially passionate about serving underserved communities and providing compassionate, evidence-based dental care. She regularly participates in continuing education courses to stay current with the latest advancements, technologies, and best practices in dentistry.
A National Health Service Corps Scholar and former member of the American Dental Association and Louisiana Dental Association, Dr. Derese brings both skill and heart to her work with patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Derese enjoys spending time with her husband, their two sons, and their dog. She also loves international travel, exploring new cultures and languages, oil painting, swing dancing, spending time outdoors, writing, pottery, and creating meaningful memories with family and friends.
